The Auditor-General Ngo Van Tuan has signed Dispatch No. 647/KTNN-TH requesting the Specialized Audit Departments and Regional Audit Offices of the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) to focus on implementing a number of contents according to Resolution No. 91/2023/QH15 dated June 19, 2023 of the National Assembly approving the State final acounts in 2021.
On May 29, 2023, Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan signed Decision No. 08/2023/QD-KTNN to officially promulgate the Audit Process of the State Audit Office of Viet Nam.
In the morning of 24 May 2023, as per program of the ongoing 5th session of the 15th National Assembly, Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan presented the audit report on the State budget final accounts for fiscal year 2021 to the National Assembly (NA).
From June 5 to 7, 2023 in Jakarta, Indonesia, the international seminar on "Leveraging performance audit impact towards green economy" was held by the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK). The seminar was attended by representatives from 14 Supreme Audit Institutions and representatives of the United Nations, the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI), the European Court of Auditors (ECA), the World Bank and other relevant ministries/institutions, and universities of Indonesia.
The State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) has recently completed the implementation phase of the audit report disclosure system to provide the Council for Ethnic Affairs and Committees of the National Assembly with its audit reports in electronic form.
