On the morning of March 16, 2023, at the Headquarters of the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) - 116 Nguyen Chanh, Ha Noi, under the chairmanship of State Auditor General, Mr. Ngo Van Tuan, SAV held an online meeting to give opinions on the draft procedures for auditing cases with signs of corruption.
On March 10, 2023, at its headquarters located at 116 Nguyen Chanh, State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) organized a workshop on "Comments on the draft Land Law (amendment)". Deputy Auditor General Dang The Vinh and the heads of Legal Department co-chaired the workshop.
The Ordinance on Sanctions of Administrative Violations in the field of State Audit, which was approved by the 15th Standing Committee of the National Assembly (NA) at the 20th meeting session on February 28, 2023, consists of 5 chapters, 21 articles regulating violations, forms and levels of sanction, measures to address consequences; authority, procedures for imposing penalties, executing penalty decisions, and enforcing administrative penalty decisions for violations in the field of state audit.
Within the framework of the working program of the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation (CAAF) with the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) on capacity building in the field of performance audit, in the morning of March 15, 2022, in Ha Noi, CAAF opened a training course on interviewing skills for state Auditors in the field of performance audit.
On the afternoon of March 16, 2023, in Ha Noi, the Office of the President held a press conference to announce the Order No. 02/2023/L-CTN dated March 10, 2023 of the President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam on the publication of the Ordinance on Handling Administrative Violations in the field of State Audit. The Ordinance was approved by the 15th Standing Committee of the National Assembly, 20th Session on February 28, 2023.
