Sharing international experiences in utilizing audit results to support the activities of the National Assembly

In order to understand the needs and strengthen the cooperation between the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation (CAAF) and agencies of the National Assembly within the framework of the mission with the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV), in the afternoon of March 17, 2023, CAAF delegation led by Ms. Caroline Jorgensen, CAAF Vice President, had a working session with the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly. Receiving and chairing the meeting with the delegation was Mr. Le Minh Nam, Standing Member of the Finance and Budget Committee of the National Assembly.

Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation and the State Audit Office of Viet Nam promoted cooperation in the field of Performance Audit

In the morning of March 17, 2023, in Ha Noi, the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) and the Canadian Audit and Accountability Foundation (CAAF) held a review meeting on the partnership between the two Agencies.

The Standing Committee of the National Assembly to discuss and approve the Ordinance on Sanctions of Administrative Violations in the field of State Audit

On the morning of 13 February 2023, right after the inauguration of 20th meeting session of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly (SC), under the direction of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Khac Dinh, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly discussed and approved the Ordinance on Sanctions of Administrative Violations in the field of State Audit. National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue attended and made a speech at the meeting.

The State Audit Office of Viet Nam to focus on completing the National Scientific Project “Improving State Audit laws to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of preventing and combating corruption and wastefulness in Viet Nam”

On February 9, 2023, at the headquarters of the State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV), its National Scientific Projects Board (Board) “Improving State Audit laws to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of preventing and combating corruption and wastefulness in Viet Nam” (Project) organized a meeting to evaluate the progress and give comments on the draft Project. Member of the Party Central Committee, Auditor General Ngo Van Tuan – Project Manager, chaired the meeting.
