The XXIX Ordinary General Assembly of OLACEFS held from 16 to 18 October 2019 placed emphasis on institutional integrity and the importance of new technologies in audit activities. During the General Assembly, the following issues were discussed: Application and legal validity of electronic signatures and electronic documents in the audit process; Gender equality in the OLACEFS member SAIs; Improvement of institutional integrity management – relevance in SAIs and in the public sector; Improvement of public integrity in the prevention and the fight against corruption; Cooperative audit for sustainable public procurement; Integrity in public-private partnerships: The role of SAIs.
The plenary session for discussion attracted the attention of representatives from over 190 INTOSAI’s members, IDI, United Nations and other international organizations.
A solemn opening ceremony of the INCOSAI – 23 was held with the presence of President of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, representative of the Federatio Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Chair of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and Mayor of Moscow.
Between 28 February and 1 March 2019, the ACCA’s 9th International Public Conference: “A sustainable public sector” hosted by the ACCA was held in Prague, Cezch Republic. The attending delegation of the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV) was headed by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Auditor General.
(sav.gov.vn) – The SAV’s delegation headed by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Auditor General, attended the 9th ACCA International Public Sector Conference between 28th February and 1st March, 2019 in Prague, Czech Republic.
