On 28/01/2018, the 7th Seminar on Environmental Auditing was held in Khao Yai National Park. The Seminar is an important activity from ASOSAI WGEA in order to futher promote the exchange and cooperation among SAIsregarding conducting environmental audits The Seminar lasted from 29 to 31/01/2018.
On 23 January 2018, at the Headquarter of the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV) in Hanoi, leaders of SAV and the Voice of Viet Nam (VOV) - the national radio of Vietnam held a meeting on communicating about the 14th ASOSAI Assembly. General Auditor Mr. Ho Duc Phoc and General Director of VOV Mr. Nguyen The Ky co-chaired the occasion.
On January 19, 2018, the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV) and the World Bank (WB) jointly held the workshop on Audits of WB - Funded projects conducted by SAV. The workshop was attended by representatives of the governing advisory departments and the departments which were in charge of audits of WB-funded programs and projects; representatives of the Management Board of programs and projects of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry of Construction.
On 3 January 2018 a meeting was held in Hanoi to review the outlined contents of two cultural shows which will be performed at the Assembly. Auditor General Ho Duc Phoc, Head of the National Organising Committee of the 14th ASOSAI Assembly chaired the meeting with the participation of the Deputy Auditors-General and members of the Sub-committee on Protocol and Events.
On 22 and 23 November 2017, the SAV organized in Hanoi a test-based examination for selection of liaison officers (L/O) for the 14th ASOSAI Assembly.
